Project Overview
A DX system for creating the documents that travel agencies in Japan submit to the government, reporting annual transaction amounts and numbers of travelers. Moving away from paper submissions, it renders the same format as the paper forms on the web and generates PDFs for submission.
Challenges
Document formats differ partially by prefecture, and the system had to follow each of them. In addition, because up-to-date travel agency data is managed in an internal database, the system needed a data import function to stay in sync at all times.
Our Approach
We built web input screens that look the same as the documents users are accustomed to. We also provided a function to generate PDFs with the same appearance as the documents, creating a system that supports both document-based record keeping and online submission.
