Notice of Information Security Management System (ISMS) Certification

MOOBON, Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takeshi Minami) obtained certification on June 17, 2024, under the latest version of the international standard for third-party certification of ISMS (Information Security Management Systems), ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (JIS Q 27001:2023).

About ISMS and ISO/IEC 27001:2022

ISMS stands for Information Security Management System, a framework of initiatives and mechanisms designed to protect the information assets held by a company or organization from three perspectives: confidentiality, integrity, and availability. ISO/IEC 27001, the standard under which we have been certified, is the international standard for evaluating an ISMS. It involves an impartial, multifaceted audit of whether these three aspects are properly operated and managed, and certifies the results. The certification we obtained is under ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (JIS Q 27001:2023), the latest version of the standard (as of June 2024). This certification objectively demonstrates that we have a framework in place to ensure information security, and that we maintain and continuously improve it.
